Rice Pudding

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 50g Short Grain Rice
  • 500ml Semi Skimmed Milk
  • 18g Granulated Sugar
  • 1 x 410g Tinned Pears in Juice

Method

  1. Place all ingredients into a pan (except the pears) and bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 45 minutes until creamy.
  3. Serve with pears.

Suitable accompaniments may include low fat custard or yoghurt
