Flexible Toolkit

The Flexible Toolkit section aims to provide basic information and support, to any person in Grampian who offers others advice and support on healthy eating and healthy lifestyle choices, with the aim of reaching a healthier weight. Some of the information in the toolkit section can be found in other parts of this website, however the section aims to place all relevant information in one place for quick reference and easy access. More information or links to more information can be found in the main areas of the website.

The toolkit is divided into topics. Each topic includes key discussion (chat) points for the topic, recommended handouts and suggestions to support discussion where possible. The toolkit aims to be flexible:

  • It can be 'dipped into' and topic materials selected depending upon the person or groups interests or requirements.
  • Length of time spent on a topic can be adjusted depending on the time available.
  • Coverage of the topic could also be enhanced if there is awareness of services, activities or other supporting information in the local area
  • Level of detail discussed can be tailored to be appropriate to the person or persons
