- Label reading can help you make healthier choices
- But need to read with care
- Front of pack label is usually colour coded - choose labels with more green and less red
- Check whether the Front of Pack label is speaking about the whole packet of product or only a part of it (written above the coloured bar).
- The Ingredients List is in weight order with the main ingredient first
- The Nutrition Label (found on side or back) can be useful for comparing products - for example to see which product has most fibre, or less sugar
